Dora Caro, LPC, LPCC (she/her/ella)
¡Hola! I am a bilingual Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) licensed in New Mexico and Texas (hablo español). I enjoy working with older teens, adults, and couples from diverse backgrounds and relationship dynamics.
I believe healing begins with feeling heard, understood, and supported. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed, recognizing that everyone's experiences are unique. I am EMDR certified, Level 3 trained in the Gottman Method and currently pursuing Gottman certification, and Level 2 trained in Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR). I also incorporate attachment-focused therapy, inner child work, and parts work.
I enjoy helping individuals and couples strengthen emotional connections, improve communication, and work through experiences that may impact their relationships. I also integrate EMDR into couples therapy, when clinically appropriate and once couples are prepared, to help process unresolved trauma, strengthen emotional safety, and support deeper connection and healing.
My goal is to create a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space where you feel supported in your journey toward healing and meaningful growth.CO-FOUNDER, THERAPIST, CLINICAL SUPERVISOR

Maria I Gonzales, LCSW, PMH-C (she/her/ella)
Welcome! I work with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, chronic overwhelm, and experiences that can leave you feeling stuck or disconnected from yourself. My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and grounded in the connection between mind and body.
A central part of my work is Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), a gentle, body-based approach that works with the brain’s early orienting and shock responses. DBR can be especially helpful when you know something is “in the past,” yet your body continues to respond as though the threat is still present.
With over 15 years of experience as a therapist, I am also EMDR trained, have completed IFS Level 1 training, and am certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C). I offer therapy in both English and Spanish, tailoring treatment to each individual’s needs and pace.
Areli Guajardo, LCSW (she/her/ella)
Welcome! I commend you for taking the first step in your healing journey. As a trauma psychotherapist, my goal is to help you understand and address the deeper roots of your symptoms while creating a safe and supportive space where you can be your authentic self.
I earned my Master of Social Work from The University of Texas at El Paso in 2015. Since then, I have worked in a variety of clinical settings, continually growing in my clinical skills and experience. Trauma is my primary area of specialty, and I approach therapy through a trauma-informed lens.
I value building a strong therapeutic relationship while integrating evidence-based approaches that support meaningful, lasting change. I am EMDR trained and working toward certification, Level 2 trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Level 1 trained in Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR). I am also bilingual in English and Spanish.

I obtained my Master’s Degree in Social Work from New Mexico State University in 2017. In 2021, I earned a Ph.D in Transpersonal Counseling (with an emphasis in Grief and Loss) and a Doctorate of Divinity in Spiritual Counseling from UMS Minnesota.
